Kimball Lake Shores in Fryeburg Maine
The North Conway NH office of Keller Williams Lakes and Mountains Real Estate is the logical base for a regional broker, I am here at this location to best serve this area in NH and North Fryeburg Maine. Kimball Lake Shores is a small development of mostly vacation homes, on the eastern shore of Lower Kimball Pond. The neighborhood straddles Stow Maine and Fryeburg Maine, and is just a short walk into Chatham NH (just north east of North Conway NH.
North Conway NH area Lakes
Lower Kimball Lake (and Upper Kimball Lake to its South?) are 2 of the closest lakes to be found near North Conway NH and the Mount Washington Valley. Conway Lake is the Grande Dame of the Valley Lakes and access to this lake is limited. Very little development has opened up on the shores of Conway Lake. Lovewell Pond in Fryeburg and then Lower Kimball Pond are the next 2 closest lakes that can support water-skiing level of activity. Both of these lakes have a little more campy history and a range of properties exist around the shores of these 2 lakes. Each has a lake – access community ( a neighborhood of vacation homes with a common area beach) but I would rank the Kimball Lake Shores beach as the better of the 2 and the best beach area of all the Conway NH area lake associations.
On a Lake in North Conway
That is probably the #1 request I hear from people that are just starting the dreaming process about owning property in the White Mountains of NH and Maine. It is often followed by… “for under $100K and it can just be a camp.” I talk about the age of the old camps in other articles so I will hold off on that part of the story for now.
North Conway is a tiny village district in the Town of Conway, within the towns of The Mount Washington Valley. Even when one opens the search for a lake up to the entire “valley” the options are limited to Conway Lake, a few lakes that Mainers like to call ponds, in Fryeburg Maine, and then the ponds of Eaton and Madison NH. Moose Pond in Bridgton ME, Silver Lake in Madison NH and Ossipee Lake in Freedom NH and Ossipee NH are all wonderful lakes, but at that point they are not what most would consider to be close (enough) to North Conway NH to be considered North Conway lakefront.
