The Coronavirus Pause
With most of the unemployment stats reflecting temporarily unemployed workers and no real financial infrastructure to repair (beyond trillions of dollars of US debt), I believe that the economy is set to come back strong in the rural housing market. Rural resort destinations offer the commercial and medical infrastructure to attract many of the people moving from urban to rural. This is because the way of life doesn’t change as rapidly. Rather than looking at the current situation as a financial crisis, I see an economy aka jobs and production, put on hold for 30-45 days and with the lifting of stay at home guidelines we will see a strong desire in the people to get out and get money flowing again.
